| Ambassadors Each visiting boat is assigned an Ambassador to look after the needs of the sailors and to ensure that the assigned crew has a pleasant and memorable stay in Yarmouth. Assistance is provided wherever necessary ie: accommodations, transportation, supplies, Canada Customs, fuel, etc.
They act as liaison between the race committee and their assigned crew. This program is unique to Yarmouth and many new friendships have come about. Many of the boats return year after year as a result of friendships developed with their Ambassadors.
